Fog's Fashion Outlook: Arty
In recent years, pajama dressing has hit the runways, as day and evening wear. Sarah Wendell Sherrill — who served as president of Berggruen Gallery until September, when she founded Lobus, a platform that brings together artist and market information in real-time — is a fan of Stevie Howell’s collection. “Her prints are at once traditional and modern,” says Wendell Sherrill of the painterly motifs, adding that she would wear the pajama top “with any number of things,” including black satin pants or denim. The robe, she notes, works well layered over a sweater with a pair of jeans. (Of course, the pieces would also be most welcome to slip on after a long day at the fair!) Dianthus silk pajama set, $540, and Phoebe Flower silk robe, $740, available at Hero Shop, 982 Post St., S.F.
